Rihanna wants to become an actress

With 22 years of age and a five-year career, the popular singer Rihanna will debut in film in 2012 and will in an action movie. Battleship, a film that has convinced the artist Rihanna originally from Barbados to make the leap to film, is based on the famous board game of naval battles.

The Umbrella interpreter share the bill with Alexander Skarsgard, known for being one of the vampire series True Blood, and will be directed by Peter Berg, who in 2008 led Hancock.

The filming was scheduled to begin early this year on location in Australia, however, some negotiations caused the delay and change of venue. Then she said the new locations are in Hawaii to start shooting in August, so it is ready for release in May 2012 as planned.

Rihanna has stated that this is part of a long sleep in her career and who had always wanted to star in an action movie.
