Paris Hilton Sued for $35 Million for Using Rivaling Hair Extension

Company claims Hilton's behavior is not consistent with contract agreements

A Beverly Hills-based company that signed a contract with Paris Hilton to promote its hair extensions recently sued the socialite for $35 million after she wore fake blonde locks produced by a rival.

Hairtech International further claims Hilton’s party lifestyle goes against their agreement and is seeking damages of 10 times what she was paid under the contract, according to Telegraph.co.uk.

The company claims Hilton has been paid $3.5 million since agreeing to be spokeswoman for the company’s Dream Catcher line of hair extensions since 2007.

According to the company’s claim, the 29-year-old had been spotted on television and in magazines wearing another company’s hair extensions.

Furthermore, the company claims the starlet missed the launch party for the hair extension line three years ago since she was serving her time in jail for driving offenses. This further violated the clause in the contract, along with her “public debauchery,” for not “obeying the law.”

Hairtech allegedly lost $6.6 million from the launch party since more than 600 “hair extension professionals” had been scheduled to attend the event, but she failed to show.

The suit further stated she had “repeatedly engaged in various improper activities” in public that went against her contract.

Hilton has not commented on the subject.
