The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Eva Longoria has been hitting the headlines these days for wrong reasons. The infidelity of her husband basketball player Tony Parker made her family life a public issue and she went on filing for divorce.

However, the actress is not a very soft-hearted lady and has decided to move ahead in life. Now, Eva has announced that her decision of adopting a baby boy from Haiti will not be affected following her divorce. It seems that Eva is following the path set by actress Sandra Bullock, who continued to be a single mother of a New Orleans baby following her divorce with Jesse G. James.
Sandra has probably been a good motivation for Eva while proceeding with the process of adoption. Eva was earlier planning to adopt the baby along with her hubby but now as they have separated, she wants to adopt the baby as a single parent.
It is quite a good decision on her part because she needs a moral support at this point of time when she has just come out of a three-year-old marriage. This will boost her emotionally as well as a person. The arrival of the baby may bring the much needed happiness in her life. She might turn out to be a much stronger as a person as the baby enters her life.
The actress became attached to Haiti since she started fund raising work for the earthquake ravaged Island. Earlier, she mentioned about those children, who suffered the most following the natural calamity.
We don’t know whether Bullock has been her inspiration or not but she will be a good example in future!
