SKIN: Keep away the winter dryness and enable smooth application of foundation with a product like Atopalm that replenishes the skin’s lipids and leaves skin looking young and supple. Dream Matte Mousse and other mousse style foundations are fantastic at hiding imperfections without looking heavy; apply lightly with a sponge and layer where needed to create an even skin tone. Get dewy-looking skin by lightly dusting a translucent shimmer over cheekbones, brow bone and center of the face using a product like bareMinerals Clear Radiance, and emulate Kim’s healthy warm glow by applying a peach/pink blush at the apples of the cheeks.
EYES: Use a natural color palette with a slight shimmer on eyes, focusing the lightest color under brows and at the inner most part of the eye. You can use products like the Sephora Pro Eyeshadow Palette (colors shown for green eyes) tolayer and create depth, or simply use a highlight color for a more minimal look.
Kim has a heavy line of black liquid eyeliner on her top lids which makes quite a statement. If you find this to be too harsh, simply leave this step out completely, or if you have trouble with the long, thin brushes of most liquid eyeliners, try a “magic marker”-style one—you’ll find you have much more control. Finishing touches: pile on that mascara (waiting a few minutes between applications) to get long luscious lashes. LIPS: Don’t forget about your pretty pucker—Kiehl’s makes a non-sticky gloss that hydrates and provides antioxidants which will keep your smile from cracking as the temperature cools.
