But singer Katy Perry says she's pals with Umbrella star Rihanna again

Katy Perry has joked that she spankedRihanna's bum after she missed her wedding to Russell Brand.

The Umbrella singer was unable to attend the couple's nuptials in India on 23 October because she's been busy promoting new album Loud. 

But Katy, 26, and Rihanna, 22, patched up their differences when they met up at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid on Sunday. 

'I bent her over and I smacked her on the ass...and then I forgave her,' she told US show Extra. 

'I said, "I love you, bitch!"' 

Katy and Russell, 35, met at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009 and got engaged in India on New Year's Eve 2009.
