Megan Fox is Single Again

Uber-hottie Megan Fox is reportedly single again beginning this week.  According to US Magazine, the 22-year old actress just broke off her engagement with 35-year old Brian Austin Green.

The split is said to be amicable for both parties, although I’d imagine Brian got the short end of this.  Where the hell is a 90s-era 90210 star and total has-been going to turn to now after losing one of the hottest women on the planet?

The couple have been dating since 2004, back when Megan was literally a barely legal teen.  They originally got engaged in 2006 and announced wedding plans for November of the same year.  While the wedding didn’t pan out (probably because Megan actually has a future in show business), the two stayed together and still looked forward to getting married at a later date.

Rumors of a possible break-up first surfaced last January, when Brian failed to escort Megan during the Golden Globe Awards.  In fact, Megan publicly blasted Brian for it (and possibly nagged him to death about it when they were alone).

According to a source, “The relationship had run its course. They both realized the time had come to go their separate ways. It’s completely amicable, and they are remaining friends.”   Both parties plan to focus on their respective careers (if you can call Brian’s role in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles a career).  Megan, on the other hand, will probably be busy with the final production and promotion of the upcoming Transformers sequel, Revenge Of The Fallen
