Hands up if you saw that one coming? And for those that did spot it was 23-year-old superstar singer Ke$ha, give yourselves a hearty slap on the back. She certainly had us fooled for a while there.
Looking at Ke$ha’s old yearbook pic, there’s no wonder she’s all about the glitter and glam these days after those dowdy, awkward teenage years. And just look at the difference a change of hair colour, plus a wash and a blow-dry can do for a girl!
Ke$ha’s pic was taken for Brentwood High School’s yearbook, and it certainly brings back a few painful memories for us too, and probably many a heatworlder as well…
We’d say it must just be a bad picture of her though, because didn’t she look much better when her family hosted Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie for their reality show The Simple Life? We seem to remember that she didn’t look this bad, anyway. Here’s a reminder!
Oooh, and another interesting Ke$ha factoid for you… She hasn’t always been called Ke$sha with a dollar sign. She used to be, more simply, known as Kesha. Why is that? Well, she’s here to tell the story herself, with a little comedy help from our friends at Funny Or Die:
