Homesick TV sisters grounded in Cape

The 30-year-old and her younger sister, Khloe, could not travel back to the US after weather chaos in Europe resulted in all flights out of Cape Town being cancelled on Friday.

"I hate to complain, but besides being stranded ... I'm so jet-lagged. I'm exhausted, starving, nauseous, homesick and have to pee so badly!" Kim posted on Twitter.

The sisters were at The Fugard nightclub for the launch of a new alcoholic fruit cooler.

"Stranded in Cape Town! All flights cancelled! We have our family Xmas reunion on my dad's side of the family tomorrow. Gonna miss it," she added.

The sisters were all smiles in the VIP section of The Fugard on Friday night, but bemoaned the travel delay.

Wrote Khloe, the outspoken member of the Dash-clan: "Who has a plane we can hitch a ride on?"

The 26-year-old, who is married to US basketballer Lamar Odom, admitted she was in tears about the delay.

"This is crazy! Why can't I sleep? Its 3.50am in Cape Town! I'm praying we get on a plane today," another tweet read.

Fans jostled to catch a glimpse of the pair at the club.

Onlookers shrieked as four bodyguards whisked the sisters, famous for their show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, to the VIP section. The girls wore their trademark sexy smiles and outfits as they arrived in a black BMW X5 with tinted windows and blue security lights

"The security was really tight. Four bodyguards came in first to check out the place, and then four came in with the girls," said fan Quintin Venter.

"They were very polite. Khloe was the friendly one. She greeted me and smiled. They're not really sexier in real life. They were kind of the same as on TV," he said.

The Kardashian family released their annual Christmas card to much hype this week. It shows the clan posing on a staircase in skin-revealing gowns and stiff suits.

Said Khloe on her blog: "Christmas cards have always been a big deal in my family. For as long as I can remember, my mom has made it a point to go all out."
