Erin Andrews hit by foul ball






ESPN reporter Erin Andrews was struck in the chin by a foul ball at a Mets-Dodgers game at Citi Field on Wednesday night -- news that sent a mini-panic through the Newsday office moments ago.

When the news was announced by a deputy editor, fellow male staffers scurried to the Internet to learn the fate of the pulchritudinous sideline reporter.

Biography:
Erin Andrews (born May 4, 1978, in Lewiston, Maine) is an American sportscaster. She is represented by the sports agency Career Sports & Entertainment in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2007 and 2008, she was voted "America's Sexiest Sportscaster" by Playboy Magazine.
