It is reported that Johnny Depp may work again with 'Donnie Brasco' director Mike Newell on the new film version of Western adventure 'The Lone Ranger'.
Production Weekly reports that Newell is in talks to direct the new film, in which Depp will play Tonto.
Apart from directing Depp in 'Donnie Brasco', Newell's other credits include 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and the upcoming 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time'.

Depp will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in the gangster thriller 'Public Enemies'; it opens on Friday, 3 July.
