Hi guys!
Over the weekend my sister Ashley came over to work on her birthday invitations. She and her husband's birthdays are only three days apart so this year for their combined 60th birthday (Ash is turning 28, Evan is turning 32) hahaha, they are planning a Scavenger hunt. I was her right hand man and addressed all the envelopes. I mean what's better than homemade invitations these days!? I am so excited for the party. I already chose my scavenger hunt partner! My family is splitting up into teams of two and already we are all getting soooo competitive! Paige and I better win! In a few weeks after the party I will post some pics and tell you how we did!

This year we started a new tradition and had Fajita Fiesta night at my house. It was so nice to have my whole family and my brother in law's family together! Whitney's Blog: Port Kids' Night Out

Whitney's Blog: TGIF

I am soooo excited to go home and be with my family and friends for the holidays. I am so appreciative for everything in my life but it is really hard when my entire family is across the country.

In a moment of loneliness I started looking through my iPhoto and found these cute pictures from my family vacation this summer! My siblings and I always joke and say that my parents tend to match. After being married for so many years, I guess they now think alike. Well in this case it turned out that the ENTIRE family dressed like twins!!! Grey was the color of the night, haha!

Whitney's Blog: My Thoughts on the Finale

Hii my dears,
I watched the episode two nights ago with Sami and Roxy and while we were so excited to all be together again, we were a little in shock about the episode. I am so proud to be a part of this whole experience but I felt as if my clothing line got the raw end of the deal. My meeting with Bergdorf's wasn't all that bad, they definitely had some critiquing but there were several positive comments as well. Hopefully in the future, as I continue to grow as a designer, they will revisit my line.

I know I'm a fresh designer and there is so much more for me to learn so I hope that when you watch you know how much heart and soul I put into this spring collection. I appreciate all the constructive criticism I get and realize that there is always room for improvement. Hopefully the clothes will speak for themselves.

Hi sweets!!
Watching the episode last night had me laughing so hard that I went into my iPhoto library and searched for the pics my little sister Paige took of the cake fight!!!

That day was so tense as I was so nervous for the unveiling of my collection, not to mention Roxy's and Kelly's miscommunication on top of that. However, the cake fight lightened everything up and really made my night!!! It was so hot and sweaty that we weren't going to eat it anyway, so why not throw it at each other???

Whitney's Blog: Taryn Manning In Whitney Eve!!

It's so cool to see that out of all the designers available for a celebrity to wear on a red carpet someone would choose my line, Whitney Eve! Taryn Manning, who was in 8 Mile and Crossroads, wore my champagne with bow belt on the red carpet for the Katy Perry/Samsung party a few nights ago! Also look for her soon in LAX magazine cause she wore Whitney Eve for that too!! How cute does she look?!? Yayyy. Thanks Taryn!!

Whitney's Blog: Just a Few Makeup Tips...

Hi my loves,
I have noticed that a lot of you have been wondering how I do my makeup. I am not a big fan of heavy makeup so the majority of the time I do my own. I stick to the basics of face powder, bronzer and blush. Over the years I have learned how to do my own makeup because we don't have a makeup artist for the show. Here is a little look at my daily routine.

I start by mixing Fresh High Noon tinted moisturizer with the Fresh Soy Face Cream to get a nice base with a little sunkissed glow. Then I dust Bare Minerals Powder with SPF 15 to even out my skin. Next I bronze with Guerlain Number One for Blondes on my cheeks, hairline and jawline. Then I brush a little bit of NARS Orgasm Blush on my cheekbones, a little on my forehead, nose, and chin to keep it constant. I use Anastasia brow gel to give my eyebrows a nice shape (this is especially helpful if I haven't had time to go in to get them done.) I highlight under my eyebrows with Benefit Eye Bright and then curl my lashes with a Sephora eyelash curler. Sometimes if I'm really feeling like going all out for the day I put on Maybelline mascara.

This look is really easy to transition from day to night. I reapply the basics and use the Stila Smudge pot with a slanted brush to put eyeliner on. For my lips I love the Fresh Sugar Lip Stain with SPF in it.

Seems like a lot of steps but it really only takes 5 minutes!
