Jayde Nicole’s Night With The Shannon Twins

Making for quite the pleasant sight, Playboy models Jayde Nicole and her “Girls Next Door” Shannon twin pals teamed up for a night on the town in Los Angeles on Tuesday (Decemebr 15).

Joined by a few more of their fellow bunny pals, the lovely ladies hit up Katsuya restaurant for a Japanese meal during what was quite the chilly evening.

Tweeting to her fans, Jayde wrote, “Omg its FREEZING!!! I need someone to cuddle with right NOW!!”

Playboy's Karissa & Kristina Shannon Go Legit

Kristina and Karissa Shannon -- a.k.a. The Shannon Twins -- have made the unlikely step from Playboy reality show starlets to actual stars of a respectable movie.

As if it were some sort of indie-movie master plan, "The Girls Next Door" blonde-duo hold down serious screen-time in Sofia Coppola's "Somewhere."

"Sofia says it was meant to be," Kristina tells PopcornBiz.

Indeed, fate and Google lent helping hands. Coppola was not aware of the wildly popular E! programs detailing the lives of Hugh Hefner's various female/blonde housemates when she went casting for the part of hot twins for the movie about an actor living in the decadent Chateau Marmont.

"She just went on the computer and Googled twins," Kristina explains. "And me and Karissa's pictures popped up. We're like the only hot twins out there besides the Olsen twins."

The two met with Coppola who immediately snapped up the duo. The director decided that the "girl-ier" twin Kristina was right for the part of Stephen Dorff's dancer/girlfriend. Karissa plays her fellow dancer/twin sister.

"I was cool with it," Karissa says about not getting the bigger part, "She's girl-ier than me. I'm more tomboyish."

Kristina says that during the shoot, Karissa would give the kind of advice only a sister can give. "Sofia would let her watch the monitor while me and Stephen were filming. Karissa would then tell me you look better when you do this or that. We were all working together."

Since filming the movie, Karissa and her longtime boyfriend Sam Jones III have been working on a reality show following their lives.

"The movie is going to be iconic."

Heidi Montag Drops Out of Reality Show

Heidi Montag will be appearing on one less reality show.

The newly single Hills star, 24, planned to pair up with her pal Jen Bunney on the small screen, but Bunney says those plans are off.

"Originally I was supposed to do a reality show with Heidi , but right now it looks like some things have changed," Bunney -- who left the second season of The Hills after feuding with Lauren Conrad over Brody Jenner -- writes on her blog.

What's more, she doesn't know if "Heidi wants to be involved in reality TV at the moment with everything going on in her personal life."

Montag is reportedly shopping around The Heidi Show with Hugh Hefner's ex girlfriends, Kristina and Karissa Shannon.

Bunney says her show has still been greenlit.

"Since that recent development our original network and some others as well have offered to continue on with the show despite Heidi possibly not being involved, which I just recently agreed to," she says. MTV is not one of the networks, according to her blog.

"Although, I of course wanted to pursue this project with her, I also respect that she has a lot to deal with right now and have to decided to go ahead and move forward with it alone, since these opportunities have presented themselves," says Bunney.

One Bunney Just Isn't Good Enough For Heidi

Heidi Montag's friendship with Jennifer Bunney is reportedly over.

A source close to Heidi tells X17online:

Heidi is trying to distance herself from Jen ... not even returning her calls. Ever since Jen has returned from Hong Kong, she's been calling Heidi non-stop asking about this summer's show. Heidi is definitely over her.

X17online spoke with Jennifer Bunney just yesterday where she told us:

I want to be in Hollywood so that I'll be able to do the show with Heidi this summer. But for some reason she's not returning my calls. It's so hard to get a hold of her. I've heard that she may do a show in the UK, but this is the first I've heard about that. I think she would have told me if the show concept has been changed ... right?

Uh ... wrong. If she's ignoring you these days, you're probably going to be kept out of the loop. May be a good idea to tell that dean of admissions that you accept! Our Heidi source tells us, "Since Jen went to Hong Kong, she has no idea that the whole game has changed. Heidi think Jen's five minutes have gone to her head."

As for Heidi, she recently tweeted:

Heidi Montag To Recruit The Shannon Twins

Heidi Montag has left the Malibu beach house where she had been hiding and is now hanging with Hugh Hefner's twin ex-girlfriends. Why? She wants the Shannon girls to join The Heidi Show!

A source close to Heidi tells X17online exclusively that Heidi spent Tuesday afternoon with 20-year-old twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon, adding:

"Heidi knows that if she's going to be doing a show about her wild and crazy summer life, she has to get moving on it. Now that the twins are single, Heidi wants them to be a part of her show."

As for Spencer, "He's totally pissed that Heidi spent time with the Shannon twins. They are the last people that Spencer wants having an influence on her," says our source.

Heidi has also been spending time Jennifer Bunney (the dumb skank Heidi convinced to sleep with her best friends ex, Brody). However our source tells X17online, "Jen obviously wants to be famous. She has gone out of her way to let everyone know that she is going to be part of Heidi's show. Seems a bit desperate, don't you think? With the Shannon twins there, no one is going to care about Jen."
