The couple were spotted leaving a toy store, with their arms full, in Sherman Oaks, California.

No word on who the lucky recipient of the gifts was, but it was one day before Lavigne's best friend and ex-guitarist, Evan Taubenfeld's 27th birthday.

Lavigne looked cute in some denim short shorts and colourful limited edition Adidas JS Wings trainers, whilst Jenner brought the heat, looking sizzling in a white vest and black beanie.

Bringing an end to the weekend with a family excursion, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz took Bronx Mowgli out to a local park in Sherman Oaks, CA on Sunday (September 26).

The "Melrose Place" cutie and her Fall Out Boy hubby eased their way to the kiddie's paradise as they watched on while their young son played in the sand in between utilizing the swingset and slides.
