You might think that dating Paris Hilton was the most embarrassing thing that could happen to Doug Reinhardt – but as we’ve seen time and time again, never underestimate how humiliating the heiress can be. Especially once she’s been scorned.
The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Hilton was vacationing in St. Tropez last Thursday, and everything was going swimmingly until she found herself sitting near Reinhardt at Les Caves du Roy, one of the town’s fancy nightclubs. At first, things were simply tense, with the two downing drinks and trading rich-kid death glares across the club.
But Hilton likes to win, and soon took advantage of her influence to embarrass Reinhardt in front of the entire club.
"She asked the deejay to announce, 'Paris wants Doug Reinhardt to get out,’” a spy told Page Six. “He left 30 minutes later with his head down."
Say what you want about Hilton, but you have to give her points for style.
The two began dating in February 2009, but Hilton dumped Reinhardt (twice!) when she became concerned he was using her for fame. And if anyone knows about desperate grabs for fame…
