Britney Spears to release New Single in a few weeks?

As reported in a previous post, producer Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins had a Ustream session last night where he spilled the beans on the upcoming albums of Beyonce and Britney Spears. He didn’t say much about the Britney album except that he’s been producing for it, which we’ve known about for months. HOWEVER, he also hinted the following: “Britney fans are gonna be so happy in a few weeks”.

Seriously, I wish he didn’t do that. Now Britney fans will be in a frenzy about the possibility that she is set to debut her new single at this years VMA Awards. EVERY year, the Pop starlet is rumoured to perform there only for the speculation to be false. But having said that, if he knows something we don’t, Britney fans could very well be in for a nice surprise. Fingers crossed.
